Lots and lots of people stopping by and asking if the weather may possibly affect how easy it is to find the hidden medallion...............Yes!
The rules include a mention of how snow or grass or leaves may have to be moved to find the medallion. Part of the game. Some things just can't be controlled can they? Hundreds of brave souls are still looking though and that type of persistence is what wins the prize. If it was easy it wouldn't be as challenging would it?
The posting I put up with the clue apparently didn't stay published so here it is again. For further information go to www.Mlive.com or Greg's website www.wyomingriddler.com He's doing a pretty good job of it.
"It is near a sign of change, somewhere South of 28th, in between Grandville and Kentwood. Question: Why? Exclamation: Oh! Vase: Ming. Everyone clear on that? OK?"
I would like to reinforce my rule that I will definitely not answer any question that may in any way give you advantage in the game. No exceptions!
Enjoy the game, remember the danger of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, especially at this time of year. Stay warm!

America's most powerful person
I've been reading and hearing about the most powerful person in America. It seems that he can do just about anything. He's got a bunch of friends too. When they get together it's supposed to be an awesome thing to behold. My curiosity is running overtime because I can't find his picture or any background on him. I don't have his last name. You'd think that with all the freedom of information stuff we have I could find just about all I needed to know. I'm going to keep trying. From what I hear, he runs practically the entire country from behind the scenes. Frustrating as it is, my search for him is turning into quite the riddle for me. As you probably already know, I love a good riddle! I'll let you know how it goes. I'm looking for a possible conspiracy here..............Joe

"I think you'll agree it's not just better but also, more specifically in a great smaller area to inspect for what you seek. Great and OK for you, OK for me."
More can be seen in the Advance and Grand Rapids Press and also on Greg's web site www.wyomingriddler.com
Remember the reason for this game, besides having fun and the chance to win a beautiful and valuable prize; "Carbon Monoxide, Get Outside!"
Enjoy and Good Luck!.........................Joe

Treasure hunt search pointers
It's been an interesting past couple of days. Dozens of enthusiastic treasure hunters visited me early tuesday morning to get a jump start on the search for the treasure. The pile of flyers whittled down almost faster than I could keep up. Weather was great and everyone took off in their direction of choice. The medallion remains secure in it's hiding place today though.
Because of the Internet I don't receive the volume of mail requests as in the past. I sort of miss that but on the other hand I have less time to deal with them also so it's a trade off. The newspapers are covering it well too pointing out the purpose of the game: a fun and challenging way to be reminded of the danger of carbon monoxide. (If there is anything I've learned through my research concerning CO poisoning, it is that most of us don't want to hear or talk about it. Especially perhaps the media folks I run across from time to time. Unless, of course it results in a tragedy of some sort. And that is precisely what I wish to prevent with my annual reminders.)
A couple pointers here to help with your search. Pay close attention to the list of rules listed in the papers and on line at Greg's site www.wyomingriddler.com They will clarify literally every question you may have regarding the medallions location. It is not on private property, you do not have to dismantle anything to retrieve it are two important things to remember.
Good luck, carry on, toodle ooo and all that............................Joe
